Super Bowl Party

Devour Downtown – Winterfest 2012

A heads-up on a really great event here in Indianapolis that begins  tomorrow. Devour Downtown’s Winterfest 2012 runs from January 9th through the 22nd. It’s an opportunity to try one or several of the participating 56 downtown area restaurants that you have always wanted to go to…offering some of their favorite menu items at special reduced pricing. Walking Georgia Street

The view this evening down Georgia Street looking east from the Convention Center entrance on Capitol Ave. With the balmy, unseasonably warm temperature and nearly a full moon, there couldn’t have been a better opportunity to take a stroll down the new Pedestrian Mall. It was quiet and nearly deserted. In contrast, in less than a month, this area between the Convention Center and Bankers Life Fieldhouse will be teaming with visitors

Holiday Lights on the Circle

An shot of the holiday lights at the Monument taken from a little different perspective, close to it’s base looking up. The strands of multi-colored lights ascending toward the top bathe everything around the Circle with a rosy glow, which gives the whole area a surrealistic effect and a special holiday feel.
