Floating Holiday

It’s Easter Sunday. So nothing controversial, political, business related, profound or too complex today. Just a photo I liked taken this morning at Geist Lake…a solitary mallard paddling, floating in the shallows. I watched him as he eventually completed the short trip to join up with a small group of his friends and family. Being Easter Sunday, I suppose many of us will be doing something similar today.

Twenty Eleven

Some fireworks to start the new year off with a bang!  OK, well…floral fireworks. It’s the closest thing I could come up with.  Just squint your eyes and pretend you hear a loud explosion while looking.

It’s interesting how just one page turned on a calendar feels like a fresh start, but it does somehow. After witnessing the last few years, one thing’s clear. We’re all connected. So, let’s make 2011 a good one. Deal?
