This Mystery Challenge has to do with this photo above. Here’s a clue. It is something that’s located outdoors in a public location in the Indianapolis area.
If you are the first one to correctly guess what and where this is located, then you win a prize…in this case, admission for two to the Indiana State Museum. Entrys are to be submitted by using the ‘Make a Comment’ link in this post. To answer this correctly and win the prize, please state the exact location and describe the object in this photo. Good Luck!
If no correct responses are received in one month from when this Mystery Challenge is first published, then this month’s contest will expire.
Update 02-20-10 2nd clue, the word - JAGUARS
Update 02-27-10 3rd clue – I’ve posted photos twice of other things taken close-by in this same general area.
Update 03-06-10 4th clue, the word - MICHIGAN

Update 03-15-10 There were no correct guesses for this Mystery Challenge…so here is the answer:
The location where this photo is taken is the NW corner of west Michigan Street and University Boulevard on the IUPUI campus, home of the Jaguars. Here is a wider shot of the same corner and subject of the photo. The mysterious stained glass object is actually a huge ball and part of the “sculpture” on the corner.

Just because I am a wildman who loves the sort of chaotic movement in this stained glass (?) piece, I am going to say two things. It’s probably in the old train station (I don’t know what it’s used for now), and although Indy, and those I know there, suffered many losses this past week, not the least of which was for the Colts in the Superbowl, it is my hope that like the ebb and flow of time and its consequences, the answer will reveal not only the location, but who I get to go to the Indiana State Museum with. Oops! Outdoors you say? OK, same location as atop two posts ago. Bada boom.
That’s a very clever guess…and it certainly shows a logical approach, thinking that I probably took both photos at the same time and location? The only trouble with that is I didn’t…and the stained glass window used in the Market Watch post is part of an old church in the Lockerbie area…And the Mystery Challenge photo is…well, it’s not from Union Station. Good guess though.
I think it is either a big snake hanging outside at the zoo or a shot of all the building material in my garage! Love this website , Richard. You are so smart!
OK.. is that your final answer? Or do you want to call your life-line? Um…nope, not a close-up of a big snake at the zoo. What would that be exactly…a rare Tiffany Anaconda?? And I swear I never was in your garage! No…sorry. Interesting guesses though. Thanks for the kind words about the website. It’s fun for me.
