One Last Shot

Seasonal Shift

If you are like me, it felt unusual looking for a jacket before going out, much less wearing one. But I’ve been thankkful to have one on a few times lately. Just a day ago the temps were at knocking on the door for breaking the 100° heat record, then all of a sudden Fall weather is here. There are still lots of really warm days ahead, this is just what it’s like in Indiana.

Evening Sky

A photo taken yesterday evening with my phone camera. For a few minutes as the sun lowered close to the horizon, it lit up everything in the sky with it’s rosy glow. Just another everyday common miracle. Another example of the incredible beauty we are surrounded with if only we take time to notice.

Summer Heat

As the thermometer hit 90+, we all are making adjustments to keep cool, including this fellow, who was enjoying a good splashing and a drink in the public fountain. It looked like he was having fun actually. The aviary version of “running through the sprinkler”.
