This isn’t a post about real estate where we “talk house”, this is about a house that actually talks. Its not haunted or inhabited by spirits either. It’s a real feeling that emanates from it so strongly that the thought-wave received is like a voice that speaks to something within you. When someone begins the buying process to look for a home, after a while they develop a clear vision of what they are looking for. It usually happens after a buyer encounters a number of homes that aren’t right for one reason or another. An important feature or two on their wish list that they must have is missing, or maybe something they absolutely do not want is there instead. The market tests you to see what you would be willing to take. It tests you to see if you are patient or focused enough to stick to your guns, to your vision of the home you want, or will you settle for less? So I always think the right thing is to be patient, keep looking. The perfect one is going to be there when the time is right.
And then after a while…there it is. You pull up outside and the whispers begin. You go inside and it says some more. With each turn through the hallways and from one room to the next, the talking continues. I never have to say a word. The home does all the vocalizing. It’s a magical process. The dream materializes.
