You know the seasonal shift will be heading into Summer soon when you see watercraft waking up from their dry-docked, shrink-wrapped slumber to become actual functioning, floating boats again. Workers have been unwinterizing them one after another here at Geist Marina.

Pacers Homecourt Advantage

If the Pacers play as well as they have the first two games of this series at Chicago, they should win the next two games this Thursday and Saturday here in Indy…that is if the officials give them and their fans the same kind of home court calls they gave the Bulls at the first two up there. Pacers in the Playoffs

The tall pedestal clock in the lobby of Conseco Fieldhouse near the Delaware Street entrance, a reminder that there is very little time remaining in the regular season…just three games left after tonight’s win over the Wizards. What started out as a season of hope for the Pacers, turned into a struggle mid-way, like always I guess. But this time the team worked through that, growing and evolving into one with spirit

Feeling Lucky

After something has been there for a while, it’s easy to grow accustomed to it’s presence. Like the NCAA Headquarters and adjacent Hall of Champions. But every once in a while I try to remind myself how really lucky we are that they chose Indianapolis and the White River State Park area to set up shop. Not that the city didn’t deserve it. Indy had the complete package to offer them.

Bulldogs Run

It’s safe to say that a large percentage of Indy area residents are basketball fans in general. It goes with the territory…just being a Hoosier. I believe it’s a state law that each citizen must have a basketball goal on their property and shoot 100 free throws per day? And even though many people from Indianapolis did not attend hometown Butler University, it’s hard now, especially after last years run, not to be a Bulldog
